Indirect Tax Manager

• Report to the Head of Tax, Americas
• Manage a team of tax professionals delivering sales, use, and property tax obligations
• Prepare, review, and analyze sales, use, and property tax compliance data
• Continuously improve processes and recommend automation integration for the end-to-end compliance process
• Partner with IT, Commercial, and Finance teams to ensure accurate upstream tax data
• Support indirect tax audits by compiling and reviewing documentation and audit work papers
• Document audit results and help implement solutions to reduce future exposure
• Review month-end journal entries and balance-sheet reconciliations for indirect tax accounts
• Research, analyze, and communicate the impact of indirect tax law developments
• Monitor business activities for filing responsibilities and nexus exposure
• Determine the taxability of goods and services sold and purchased by the company
• Facilitate special projects and perform other duties requested by leadership
• Ensure proper tax treatment for new products and business initiatives
• Partner with business leaders to deliver services supporting company objectives and Winning Together values
• Support Computacenter’s mission and core values

• At least 5 years of professional experience in a corporate tax function (public or private)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or a related business area
• CPA preferred
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Good knowledge and experience of SAP, MS Office and MS Teams
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strategic thinking and tactical execution skills
• Good knowledge of the IT industry and an understanding of IT technologies and products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable communicating with colleagues in different countries where English is not the first spoken language
