Role

Senior Accountant I in Source to Settle (STS), providing operational leadership and strategic oversight for the North America customer service framework within Gilead's finance operations.

• ensure accurate, timely processing of supplier invoices;
• drive process standardization, controls, and continuous improvement;
• partner with global STS teams to optimize workflows;
• manage stakeholder expectations;
• support compliance with SOX and internal policies;
• lead issue resolution and supplier engagement;
• monitor inflight transactions and aged payables;
• collaborate with procurement and finance stakeholders to enhance process performance;
• provide guidance to offshore teams.

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years or Master's with 3+ years in finance or shared services, with experience in Accounts Payable, P2P, or finance operations;
• proficiency with Oracle EBS, SAP, Ariba, and VIM;
• strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills;
• knowledge of US GAAP and SOX controls.

• biotech/pharma industry experience, process improvement, automation expertise, and experience leading global cross-functional initiatives.

• finance operations in a global biotech/pharmaceutical environment, SOX compliance, process automation, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement.
