Salary: $6,031.00 – $7,547.00 per month. New‑to‑State candidates will be hired at the minimum salary or minimum of alternate range where applicable.

Telework: Eligible to telework up to three (3) days a week, per Statewide Telework Policy. Will be required to report to the office as needed. The successful candidate must reside in California.

Job Description and Duties

Under the supervision of Supervisor I, the Analyst II is required to perform program and policy analysis and develop, implement, review, and maintain complex, highly technical position control functions and retention policies, processes, and procedures. Responsibilities include utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in accordance with control agencies such as the State Controller’s Office (SCO), California Department of Human Resources (CalHR), and the State Personnel Board (SPB).

This position may be used to fill subsequent vacancies per CCR 249.3.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum requirements are detailed in the Class Specification. Key requirements include proficiency in Microsoft Office, understanding of position control regulations, and ability to analyze and improve retention policies.
