Job Description & ResponsibilitiesAs an Employment Program Representative, you will provide accurate and professional customer service in a call‑center environment, assisting customers in filing unemployment insurance claims, determining benefit eligibility, and processing claims using electronic/computer systems. You will comply with laws, policies, and procedures when handling confidential information. Expectations include punctuality, positive communication, active listening, efficient call management, and turning negative situations into positive ones.
Qualifications & SkillsThe ideal candidate will:
ask pertinent questions
, demonstrate a desire to understand job expectations, provide feedback for process improvement, work independently while contributing to team goals, and have sound computer skills to learn, train, and transition into UI computer programs. Training will be provided. Travel and/or overtime may be required.
