Job Overview
Salary Range: $9,572.00 - $10,867.00 per month.
New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or the minimum of the alternate range when applicable.
TeleworkThis position is eligible to telework up to three (3) days a week in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy. The employee must reside in California upon appointment and is required to report to the office as needed.
Responsibilities- Direct and manage the work of Space Planning professionals and clerical/support staff in performing a wide range of space planning activities for real property to meet the needs of State of California agencies.
- Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with the Real Estate and Leasing Program (RELPS) objectives, policies and procedures, the State Administrative Manual, Space Planning policy and procedures, state and local codes and regulations, and industry best practices.
- Make or participate in the making of governmental decisions that may have a material effect on personal financial interests, in compliance with the Conflict of Interest Code.
- Complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and annually thereafter.
- Travel as required for the position.
- Minimum qualifications are set forth in the Classification Specification for State Facilities Manager II. Applicants must meet or exceed these qualifications to be considered.
- Required application documentation includes completed STD Form 678 and documentation supporting the Minimum Qualifications.
- Work is performed in a hybrid environment with up to three days of telework and in‑office requirements.
