Rate:
Starting hourly rate - without experience: $30.25 & with experience: $32.53

Primary DutiesThe primary duties and responsibilities of a Police Officer include the prevention and suppression of crime, the investigation of offenses and the arrest of offenders, the protection of life and property, and the preservation of the peace.
- This is a safety sensitive position
- Performs other duties as requested
Minimum Requirements
- Applicants must be a U.S. citizen
- Must have either a high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Minimum age of 21
- Valid driver's license
- U.S. Military Service
- A minimum of 64 hours of college credit;
Criminal Justice is preferred
- Written Exam
- Oral Interview
- Physical agility testing
- Background investigation
- Polygraph
- Psychological exam
- Chief's Interview
- Mayor's Interview
- Pre-placement physical and drug screen exams
