Job OverviewUnder the general supervision of the Correctional Case Records Supervisor, the CCRA calculates and modifies incarcerated individual release and discharge dates, applies credits, enhancements, work credits, and relevant policies to ensure inmates are confined and paroled in compliance with laws. The role interprets laws, researches complex legal directives, processes and maintains incarcerated individual/parolee records, and liaises with other units, institutions, and agencies.
The CCRA may act as lead over other Records Office staff.
- Calculate and modify inmate release and discharge dates.
- Apply credits, enhancements, work credits, and relevant policies to inmate records.
- Interpret laws and research complex legal directives.
- Process, maintain, and control incarcerated individual/parolee records.
- Act as liaison with other units, institutions, and agencies.
- Serve as lead person over other Records Office staff when necessary.
