Responsibilities- Provide environmental planning, environmental analysis, and compliance expertise to support Central Valley Flood Protection Plan’s Conservation Strategy goals and objectives.
- Coordinate closely with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, planners, and engineers as well as the public.
- Use strong project management skills and a broad understanding of environmental policy and practices related to the flood control system in the Central Valley.
- Collaborate and communicate clearly across disciplines within DWR and with key State, federal, and local partners and the public.

- Experience in environmental planning, analysis, and compliance within a flood control context.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments and work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of GIS and water-related biology and ecology principles.
