Position: MISSION SUPPORT OFFICER with Security Clearance
Location: Whiteman Air Force Base

Duties The primary purpose of this position is: as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) Officer to serve as the Senior ART/Mission Support Group Commander at a tenant location, responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, and controlling the activities and operations of the Mission Support Group. DUTIES:
* Plans, directs, organizes, and manages the Mission Support Group program including such areas as logistics planning and readiness, security forces, civil engineering, communications, services, and personnel. Incumbent manages a limited number of support functions or does not have the full complement of base support services as these services are provided by the host activity.
* Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
* Represents the wing with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
* Accomplishes special staff studies and projects resulting from reorganizations, regulatory changes, new technology, mission changes, etc. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Incumbent must be willing to move/transfer to another unit/ location on a lateral or promotion as directed by HQ AFRC.
* This is a key management position in which the incumbent is required to formulate, determine or influence training policies of the unit to which assigned.
* The incumbent must possess demonstrated leadership and managerial abilities essential to successful accomplishment of the responsibilities inherent in a senior command position.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
