Range 43B: $34.38‑$41.80/hr.
Position: Permanent Part Time – Approx.: 8hrs/week

Minimum Qualifications- One year as a Deputy Sheriff I in Alpine County or two years in other law enforcement agencies.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Completion of college‑level coursework leading to an associate’s degree in criminal justice, police science, or a closely related field (desirable).
- Possession of a Basic P.O.S.T. certificate (required). Intermediate P.O.S.T. certificate desirable.
- Public safety CPR certificate.
- Valid California driver’s license.
Hourly pay: $34.38‑$41.80 (based on Range 43B). This part‑time position is approximately 8 hours per week and does not include benefits.
