Motor Vehicle Representative - Telework Hybrid
Responsibilities- Evaluate and process incoming subpoenas and related court cases.
- Coordinate subpoena requests with district Driver Safety offices and work closely with the Legal Affairs Division.
- Use computer systems including the Driver Safety Case Management System and Enterprise Content Management to track, process, and maintain assigned workload.
- Respond to requests for information and resolve problems presented by the public, law enforcement officers, attorneys, and other governmental entities via telephone, written correspondence, and in‑person contact.
- Review, update, and analyze driver records, inspecting documents for authenticity, completeness, and required signatures.
- Interpret and explain provisions of the California Vehicle Code, administrative regulations, departmental policies and procedures.
- Schedule hearings, interviews, and reexaminations; create and maintain case records; scan and upload documents; issue subpoenas; process commercial medical updates; review system‑generated reports; respond to discovery requests; and assist with correspondence, filing, and telephone coverage.
