Duties
- Serves as the technical expert, exercising real-time command and control over the entire range and training area complex.
- Conducts range walks and performs detailed inspections of training land and facilities to assist units in the preparation of live fire/non-firing training, as required.
- Achieves mission accomplishment through working and coordination with military personnel and civilians.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Drug Test is required
- Pre-employment Physical is required
- Able to obtain and maintain U.S. issued driver license
- Must be able to work rotating shifts to include nights/weekends/holidays/weather essential
- Position is subject to Lautenberg Amendment

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
