The Placer County Community Development Resource Agency is accepting applications for Supervising Code Enforcement Officer to fill one vacancy in Tahoe City, CA. This position is responsible for enforcing short-term rental ordinances in connection with the regions 3,400+vacation rental properties and also some traditional code cases.
The Supervisor level recognizes positions that perform full, first-line supervisory responsibilities including planning, organizing, directing, assigning, and evaluating the work of subordinate sand is responsible for a section within a work unit or a division. The Supervisor level is responsible for the most complex or difficult code enforcement cases.
Tahoe Branch Assignment Premium:
This position is eligible for salary plus up to an additional $1,100 per month Tahoe Branch Assignment Premium for employees who are permanently assigned to a position located in the North Lake Tahoe Area.
Three (3) years of responsible journey level experience performing duties similarto a Code Enforcement Officer II in Placer County.
TrainingEquivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.

Relevant, equivalent experience (performing the same or similar job requiring similar knowledge, skills, and abilities) may be substituted for the required education as determined by the Human Resources Department. Applicants receiving their degree outside the United States must submit proof of accreditation by a recognized evaluation agency.
- May need to possess a valid driver's license as required by the position. Proof of adequate vehicle insurance and medical clearance may also be required.
- Possession of a valid certificate of completion of Penal Code §832 Course in Arrest, Search, and Seizure issued by California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training to be obtained within twelve (12) months of employment.
