Position Salary Range: $8,702 - $13,053 per month

The anticipated hiring range for this position is $9,700 - $10,800 per month.

Salary is commensurate with experience.

The Office of Equity and Inclusion is seeking a dedicated professional to join the team:
Deputy Title IX Coordinator/DHR Administrator

Under the general direction of the Executive Director of the Office of Equity and Inclusion, the Deputy Title IX Coordinator/DHR Administrator serves as the Executive Director’s operational second in command and assists with compliance with CSU policies encompassing Title IX, and Discrimination, Harassment, Retaliation (DHR). The Deputy Title IX Coordinator/DHR Administrator performs trauma informed intake meetings, oversses Formal and Alternative Resolutions, and in particular the management of timely, high quality, fair, and thorugh investigations.

The incumbent independently performs complex investigations and reviews, analyzes, and evaluates investigative plans, investigative reports, and other documents for accuracy, completeness, quality, and consistency with applicable laws and University policies in collaboration with the Executive Director.

Overview of

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct intake meetings with parties to explain available resources, supports, and resolution options.
  • Provide clear guidance on filing a formal complaint, pursuing formal or informal resolution, and accessing supportive measures with or without filing a formal complaint.
  • Facilitate notices of investigation, no-contact orders, and ensure appropriate administrative holds are placed.
  • Coordinate interim measures, accommodations, and responses with campus partners including faculty, University Police, Student Affairs, and Housing and off-campus resources.
  • Ensures investigatory methods, processes, and procedures reflect and comply with the most current standards and regulations, as well as best practices in the field.
  • Establishes and maintains an active network of campus partners and professional contacts.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on the CSU Nondiscrimination Policy.
  • May be required to provide testimony regarding cases to outside agencies, provide advice and guidance to campus constituents, and interact with the CSU Office of the Chancellor, General Counsel, Civil Rights Attorney, Systemwide Director, Administrators, and colleagues at campuses within the CSU System.
  • Conducts training, outreach, and other educational programs and services independently and/or in conjunction with other Title IX / DHR team members to ensure faculty, staff, students, and other community members fully understand and are well-informed regarding University policy and Title IX/DHR resolution options, including any changes or updates.
  • Assists with the creation of office materials that help to communicate OEI's mission and clarify the various resolution options.
