Summary
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of RNs, GI techs, and CNAs, working seamlessly with anesthesia and GI services to deliver exceptional care. You'll play a vital role in ensuring top-tier care for both inpatient and outpatient populations.
Assisting with advanced GI procedures such as EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, EUS, manometry, Fibro Scan, Pill Cam, Bravo, and HALO. Additionally, you'll provide pre-operative and post-operative recovery care, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and comfort. Rotating through all areas of GI will offer you a diverse and stimulating work environment.

SUMMARY:
Responsible to the Nursing Director and under the direction of RN/Charge Nurse and Physician, will assist in delivery of direct care to the patient experiencing elective or emergent endoscopic procedural intervention. Primary functions are to assist with endoscopic procedures in the appropriate healthcare setting and proper care, operation, reprocessing, and maintenance of endoscopic equipment and supplies.
- GI Tech, 1-2 years, or position related experience preferred.
- Knowledge of infection prevention guidelines

- Basic computer skills.
- Required:
BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA - Preferred: CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant)
