Location: Shelbina
Occupational Therapy Assistant – Full Time

Description- Under supervision of a Licensed Occupational Therapist, treat patients for mobility, cognition, function, strength, positioning, and activities of daily living.
- Conduct in‑services and training for caregivers and facility staff on restorative and functional maintenance programs.
- Report to Director of Operations and Therapy Program Manager.
- Collaborate with families, physicians, and other team members; maintain professional documentation in medical records.

- Licensed in the state(s) where services are being provided as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Treat patients according to the treatment plan of care developed by and under the supervision of the Licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Communicate with Occupational Therapist, patient/family, and facility staff regarding patient progress, problems, and plans.
- Participate in patient Plan of Care Meetings and Interdisciplinary Team Meetings.
- Participate in in‑service training programs for other staff in the facility.
- Record treatment notes, progress notes, provide objective input for discharge summaries, and complete daily billing of services per policy and procedure.
- Instruct patient’s families and/or nursing staff in maintenance programs under supervision.
- Participate in discharge planning under supervision.
- Achieve or exceed the minimum productivity standard established by CRI.
- Recommend needed equipment to the Occupational Therapist.
- Report equipment problems to appropriate personnel.
- Act as clinical trainer for affiliating Occupational Therapy Assistant programs in area universities and colleges.
- Comply with Occupational Therapy Assistant Licensure and Certification Standards.
- Consistently portray the mission, vision, core values, cornerstones and professional image of Concept Rehab, exercise good judgment.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
Strong relationship and interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, outstanding oral and written communication, problem‑solving, analytical and critical evaluation, cultural awareness, ethical practice, independent judgment, discretion, confidentiality.
