• Greeting and escorting patients to the exam room.
• Obtaining medical histories.
• Measuring and recording vital signs.
• Preparing patients for examinations or procedures.
• Assisting the provider during examinations or procedures.

Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Contingent

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills preferred.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of clinical skills related to ambulatory patient care preferred.
• Ability to problem-solve; effective interpersonal and communication skills preferred.
• EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork, flexibility with patient acuity, and eagerness to learn and grow professionally (per Hiring Manager).

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (minimum 160 hours).
• OR graduate from a Medical Assistant program without externship, but with at least one year of clinical medical assisting experience within the past five years.
• OR current medically recognized Medical Assistant certification with at least five years of clinical experience.
• OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• OR Licensed Paramedic/EMT with at least one year of clinical experience within the past five years.
• OR Military trained medical personnel with at least one year of clinical experience within the past five years.

Current BLS-C upon hire or successful completion by end of orientation.
