Insurance Services Representative I is responsible for collection and resolution of outstanding insurance receivables including but not limited to unpaid, denied and underpaid claims. Insurance service representatives must communicate effectively, while accurately and efficiently handling high claim volume. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values and Mercy Service Standards.

• Process and resolve outstanding insurance receivables including unpaid, denied and underpaid claims.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers and payers while handling high claim volume.
• Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission, values and Mercy Service Standards.

• Education:
  
  HS Degree or Equivalent
• Other Skills and Knowledge:
  Communication and customer service skills;
  Computer and keyboarding skills
• Preferred Healthcare Billing And Insurance:
  Preferred basic Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge
