Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day (start time flexible between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM) — Day shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

- Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders using evidence-based practice
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and adjust interventions based on patient progress
- Utilize standardized assessments to guide clinical decision-making and document outcomes
- Provide clear consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and the care team
- Maintain comprehensive, regulatory-compliant electronic documentation including discharge summaries and treatment minutes
- Participate in patient care conferences, utilization reviews, and interdisciplinary rehabilitation meetings
- Obtain necessary DME or supplies per clinical requirements and support continuity of care
- Supervise and mentor CFY and student SLPs to support workforce development
- Active ASHA CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) — required
- Active Missouri state license (Compact allowed) — required
- Minimum 1 year of SLP experience — required (New grads OK if they have Level II clinical experience)
- LTC/SNF experience — required
- Comfort supervising CFY or student clinicians
- Ability to accurately document treatment minutes and maintain electronic medical records
- Three years holding active CCS is preferred
- One professional reference acceptable at time of submission
- Skilled in speech therapy, patient assessment, and standardized assessments
- Strong treatment planning, documentation, and discharge summary skills
- Experience with evidence-based practice and rehabilitation approaches
- Familiarity with Medicare A/B and productivity expectations in LTC/SNF settings (preferred)
- Comfort providing group therapy and managing caseload productivity
- Experience using electronic medical records and dedicated documentation devices
- Ability to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and families
