Location: Chesterfield
Occupational Therapist (OTR) – Shift: Full-Time/Part-Time.
Responsibilities- Treat patients by using therapeutic and self‑care activities designed to improve function.
- Monitor a patient's activities to ensure correct performance and offer encouragement.
- Contribute to meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care plans for patients.
- Document patient’s weekly progress in appropriate records.
- Maintain the office treatment areas, equipment, and supply inventory.
- Instruct patients, their families and any other caregivers in skills and techniques of the patient’s treatment program.
- Maintain valid certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and a valid Occupational Therapist state license (where applicable).
