Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose

Coordinates clinical performance improvement projects that address our publicly reported metrics, internal and external scorecards and the organization’s strategic priorities for improved patient outcomes. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) required within 3 years of start date.

Responsibilities
  • Consult with Sr. Quality Consultant, Quality Manager, and relevant stakeholders to perform or manage tasks related to developing future state quality goals; conducts analyses of the gap between current state and future state. Utilizes data analysis and lean/six-sigma methods for assessing root causes, issues with process, stakeholder support needed, and gap identification.
  • Provides consultation and support to teams and departments related to clinical performance improvement metric analysis, trending, and intervention.
  • Performs tasks related to direct observation/partnership with frontline staff/leaders (gemba) including but not necessarily limited to: process observations, monitoring of quality activities within the departments, and coaching related to improvement science and lean/six sigma principles.
