Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts with every other weekend required

• Must have 18 months of true telemetry experience with cardiac experience

• Experience required with titrating drips, pre/post cardiac cath patients, and sheaths

• Must be willing to float to all competent units within facility

• Travel experience required - no first time travelers accepted

• Must pass mandatory EKG exam on orientation day with 80% or higher, including lethal rhythms

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), CPI, NIHSS, and TNCC preferred

• Cerner charting system experience required with no exceptions

• Navy blue scrubs required

• 36 hours of orientation

• CEU requirement: 8 cardiac and 8 stroke CEUs for telemetry placements

• Must complete 4 hours of Health Stream modules pre-start

• Care for adult and geriatric patients in a 451-bed facility

• Skills include cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, post cardiac procedures, IV insulin protocols, drip titration, and wound care

• At least 1 year of nursing experience required

• Missouri RN license or compact license required
