Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts with every other weekend required (Friday and Saturday nights)

• Must work at least 2 Sundays and 2 Mondays per schedule

• 13-week assignment duration with Tuesday orientation

• 36 hours of orientation required

• 4:1 patient ratio for all shifts

• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Work in 42-bed emergency department with varied daily census

• May float to all competent units within facility

• 2 years of nursing experience required

• Travel experience required - no first-time travelers accepted

• Cerner charting system experience required

• Must pass EKG exam with 80% or higher on orientation day

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC (CPI will be required starting January 2026)

• Missouri RN license or Compact license required

• Complete non-billable Health Stream modules pre-start (4 hours for ED)

• Must maintain timely completion of all assigned modules throughout assignment

• Provide emergency care including trauma, cardiac, neurological, and psychiatric conditions

• Handle specialized equipment and procedures including arterial lines, ICP monitoring, ventilated patients, and procedural sedation

The facility maintains a 42-bed emergency department that provides care for all age groups and offers extensive interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and specialized interpretation services.
