Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with experience in at least two of four key modalities — Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro — for a 13-week travel assignment at a short-term acute care facility.
Responsibilities
• Short-term acute care hospital with 180 staffed beds
• Cath Lab unit with potential to float to sister facilities within approximately 20 miles
• 4x10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call is required on a case-by-case basis and will be discussed with the nurse manager
• Weekend requirements can be discussed with the manager
• Charting via Epic
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront, as RTO added after submission will likely not be approved
• Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be prioritized immediately upon assignment confirmation
• This is a smoke-free, nicotine-free facility — a negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) is required
• Ceil blue scrubs required
• Parking is free in any unrestricted space
Requirements
• Minimum of 18 months of Cath Lab experience required; 2 years preferred
• Experience in at least two of the following four modalities required:
Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro — this must be clearly reflected in work history
• AHA BLS and ACLS required
• RCVT or RCIS certification preferred
• Experience as a scrub technologist in a Cath Lab setting required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR preferred
• No pending licenses accepted — active licensure required; state license required if applicable
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
