** Job Summary
** The Director, Inpatient is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational oversight, and fiscal management of inpatient rehabilitation services within the hospital setting, including Rehab NICU services. This role partners closely with physician leadership, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care across the continuum. The Director serves as a key member of the Restorative Care Leadership Team and actively contributes to system-wide strategy, growth, and integration initiatives.
** Pay Range
** Minimum $133,827 Midpoint $177,320 Maximum $220,792
* Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

Required:

Minimum of five (5) years of progressive management experience in an inpatient rehabilitation or acute hospital environment. Demonstrated experience overseeing multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams and complex hospital-based operations.
• Preferred:
Pediatric inpatient rehabilitation leadership experience, including NICU or specialty inpatient populations.

Master’s degree in a healthcare, rehabilitation, business, or related discipline

Required:

Strong knowledge of hospital operations, inpatient rehabilitation workflows, and care delivery models. Advanced understanding of regulatory and accreditation requirements (e.g., Joint Commission, state and federal agencies). Proven ability to lead high-performing teams, manage change, and drive performance improvement initiatives.  Demonstrated fiscal acumen, including operating and capital budget development and management.  Excellent communication and collaboration skills with physicians, executive leaders, staff, patients, and families.  

Ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed healthcare environment.
