- Provide community‑based mental health services to clients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and implementation of interventions.
- Collaborate with clients and families to create and execute individualized treatment plans aligning with their specific goals.
- Utilize a strengths‑based approach, emphasizing empowerment and incorporating evidence‑based practices like Motivational Interviewing and Trauma‑Informed Strategies.
- Coordinate care with primary care physicians, psychiatrists, schools, and community organizations to ensure cohesive support.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and treatment progress, adhering to organizational procedures.
- Engage in staff development activities to enhance your skills in youth mental health services.
- Participate in the organization’s quality improvement initiatives through data collection and reporting.
- Work collaboratively within a team to ensure effective coordination of care and support for clients.
- Prepare for and facilitate group sessions pertinent to client treatment goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related human services field is required; or
- Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field with two years of related experience; or
- A combination of higher education and two years of related experience; or
- Associate’s of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support will also fulfill educational requirements; or
- Four years of qualifying experience providing services to individuals with mental health or substance use disorders.
- Must possess adequate written skills to complete required documentation accurately and within prescribed time frames.
- Must have a current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
- Must be at least twenty‑one (21) years of age to operate a company‑owned vehicle.
- Must be at least twenty‑three (23) years of age to operate a company‑owned fifteen (15) passenger van.
- Reliable transportation is required to transport clients as needed.
ADA Consideration – Sedentary work:
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull objects, including the human body. Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift. Sedentary work typically involves sitting most of the time but may include brief periods of walking or standing.
