This position is a non-licensed/certified staff member authorized to transport and/or stock medications to meet specified essential job duties. This includes staff who do not have the authority to prescribe, dispense, and/or administer medications. Performs in the scrub role during surgical procedures, following all established Nursing Standards and Hospital Policies.
Assists with other patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Education:High School or equivalent - graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech School preferred
Experience:1 to 2years experience preferred
