This role ensures compliance with national standards and assists with initiatives related to the Commission on Cancer (CoC) accreditation, quality assurance, and data analysis.

Minimum QualificationsEducation: High school diploma.
Experience: 3 years of experience in the Cancer Registry.
Certifications: Current Certified Oncology Data Specialist (ODS-C) and in good standing.
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and data abstraction tools.
- Strong understanding of oncology terminology and clinical workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to healthcare data (e.g., HIPAA).
- Knowledge of oncology diseases and processes.
- Knowledge of American College of Surgeons requirements for cancer program accreditation.
