Responsibilities
  • Promote the philosophy, mission and objectives of Nexion Health Management, Inc. within all areas of daily operations.
  • Establish financial and program goals for the community.
  • Monitor and manage monthly budget.
  • Ensure a safe, clean and comfortable environment for patients, visitors and staff.
  • Recruit, hire and provide orientation/training for qualified staff to properly execute community programs and services.
  • Ensure that the quality and appropriateness of patient care meets or exceeds company and industry standards; and ensure that all services comply with state and federal legal, regulatory, accreditation and reimbursement guidelines.
  • Follow regulatory guidelines for reporting incidents to the proper company and agency authorities.
  • All other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
  • 3+ years of administrator experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Working knowledge of personal computer and software applications used in job functions (word processing, graphics, databases, spreadsheets, etc.).
  • Excellent ability to supervise, instruct and motivate others.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully and independently oversee all community operations.
