** Job Summary
** The Manager of Rehabilitation Services is responsible for providing clinical leadership and direction ensuring operational excellence and appropriate allocation of resources for the department. This position will work in collaboration with the Manager and Director in planning, developing, and directing the activities of the Rehabilitation Services Department across the CHOC Children's continuum of care.
** Pay Range
** Minimum $115,606 Midpoint $153,150 Maximum $190,736
* Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

* Required:

Previous supervisory experience in a pediatric hospital or clinical setting.  Preferred:
Five (5) years of previous management experience in a pediatric hospital or clinical setting.
** Education

* Required:

High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent.
** Specialized Skills
*
* Required:

Knowledge of JCAHO and DHS standards for clinical care. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal relationship and collaboration skills. Strong analytical and organization skills; excellent critical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills. Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English effectively at a level appropriate for the safe and effective performance of the job. Knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional area.

Attention to detail, vigilance, poise, and composure in stressful situations.  Preferred:
Knowledge of third-party payers including Medi-Cal/Cal-Optima and CCS
** Licensure

* Required:

Occupational Therapist License – CA;
Physical Therapist License – CA;
Speech Language Pathologist – Board of Speech Language Pathology, Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensers;
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.  Preferred:
Registered Nurse – CA (RN).
** Work Environments - Functional Demand:
** Medium - High energy level Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Push/pull +/- 150-200 lbs. (Patients on bed, stretcher) Lateral transfer 150-200 lbs. (ie. Patient) .##
