Customer Service Representative

Have strong customer service and business office skills? Want to work for an agency that’s all about helping others? Chestnut Health Systems needs you for this part-time PRN position! This position will be based at our Hillsboro, MO office.
Responsibilities- Greet clients and visitors in a courteous and respectful manner, creating a safe and welcoming environment.
- Gather demographic, financial, and insurance information in person or by telephone.
- Discuss payment plans, waivers, and fee agreements with patients.
- Ensure complete documentation and information in patients’ electronic medical records.
- Verify current payer eligibility.
- Schedule appointments.
- Operate standard office equipment.
- Promote the recovery model of treatment, including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service background.
- Excellent telephone skills.
- Knowledge of standard office procedures and use of office equipment.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills, attention to detail, and discretion handling confidential information.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Basic keyboarding skills.
- Experience using MS Office products.
- Ability to commute among locations.
- Valid driver’s license, private auto insurance, and insurability.
