Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is hiring Hospital Social Service Practitioners II and III. Social Service Practitioners provide assessment, intervention and case management support to individuals, groups, children and families with complex health, psychosocial or economic problems. The role involves investigating and supporting cases involving neglect, abuse, emotional or behavioral problems, physical/mental disabilities, and other health conditions. Cases frequently require assisting clients with emergency situations and assessment of risk, safety, and bio‑psycho‑social welfare.

• Social Service Practitioner II
  • Education:
    
    Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from a school accredited by the Council of Social Work Education.
  • Experience:
    
    No experience required.
• Social Service Practitioner III
  • Education:
    
    Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from a school accredited by the Council of Social Work Education.
  • Experience:
    
    Three (3) years of experience as a Social Service Practitioner in San Bernardino County or equivalent experience.
• Certification: A copy of the MSW degree or an official transcript indicating the degree awarded must be submitted with the application.
• Final Year Eligibility:
  Candidates within 120 days of completing a qualifying degree may be considered if they meet the experience requirements at the time of application. Job offers may be contingent upon degree completion with verification required prior to hire.
