Job Title

Sign-On Bonus Available $10,000 after 30 days $2500 at 6 months $2500 at 12 months With a 12 month additional obligation Base rate starting at $32.32 per hour. Essential Function:

Explaining procedures to patients and answering questions. Preparing equipment for use as needed. Preparing examination rooms for patient exams. Positioning patients for imaging exams. Monitoring patients during exams. Documenting information with computers. Reporting important information to the physician. Ensuring safety of patients during exams.

Skills:

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels. Ability to complete competency CPR and First Aid. Ability to perform simple mathematical equations. Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective oral and written communication skills.

Working Conditions:

Exposure to distressed patients, families or visitors. Possible exposure to inside environmental conditions.

Physical Demands:

Requires standing, sitting or walking for up to 8 hours or longer per workday. The ability to lift up 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) ARDMS or enrolled in an accredited school. Class C Basic Life Support (CPR) within 90 days of employment and renew. Must adhere to appropriate Diagnostic Imaging attire.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a hospital or comparable setting.
