Adelphi is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to provide nutrition services in Howard County, Texas. The ideal candidate will assess nutritional needs, support care planning, provide education, and collaborate with care teams to ensure compliance and patient health.

- Minimum of 3 months with option to extend - Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM- shift pattern is subject to change as determined by the director to meet the needs of the hospital– No holidays, weekends, or after-hours shifts - Start Date:
June 1, 2026, pending completion of onboarding and compliance - Compensation: $45/hr
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and/or Nutrition
- Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) with the National Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics
- Licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners
- Possess a valid Texas driver’s license
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience as a Dietitian
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with physicians, staff, patients, and families.
- Must maintain current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.
- Must comply with agency immunization requirements
- Must submit to agency-required drug test
- Must submit to agency-required fingerprinting
- Must complete facility and agency required training
- Must comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures and policies.
- Must adhere to Joint Commission, CMS, and agency standards and directives.
- Providing nutrition care to patients throughout the Hospital.
- Creating nutrition plans to improve the health and physical conditions of patients.
- Analyzing the patients’ health status, goals, and dietary restrictions.
- Tracking patient’s dietary intake and progress and educating patients on how to maintain a balanced diet.
- Consults to patients, families and treatment team regarding nutrition needs.
- Writing appropriate nutrition related recommendations in the medical record.
- Approving patients’ menus and providing this information to the Food Services Director.
