- Perform overall quality assurance of the clinic’s linear accelerators.
- Co‑operate with machine service staff to ensure equipment operates at optimum level.
- Conduct periodic quality checks on the machine and evaluate radiation plans with dosimetry.
- Review patient charts on a weekly basis.
- PhD or MSc from an accredited program in Medical Physics or a related field.
- NYS licensure as a Medical Physicist (Therapeutic Radiological).
- Experience with 3‑D conformal radiotherapy and treatment planning systems.
- Experience with IMRT/VMAT.
- Knowledge of calibration of linear accelerators and periodical quality assurance.
