Position Overview
This role involves performing radiology and CT procedures independently or under supervision, adhering to established medical standards and protocols. The technologist ensures high-quality imaging while prioritizing patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort.
Responsibilities- Conduct radiology and CT scans following anatomical positioning and physiology guidelines.
- Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and comfort during procedures.
- Use technical knowledge to produce optimal images and ensure diagnostic accuracy.
- Collaborate with medical staff as needed.
- Graduate of ARRT-accredited Radiological Technology program; associate degree preferred.
- Successful completion of CT training or 1+ year CT experience; 1-2 years preferred.
- Certified R.T. (R) and R.T. (CT) (ARRT) within one year.
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in computer systems, with excellent communication, organization, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
