Foreign Pharmacy Grad - International Pharmacy Intern

Job Purpose and Summary

At CVS Health, Non‑US Accredited Foreign Graduates provide advanced pharmacy support under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. They help deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care while completing required U.S. internship hours and preparing for pharmacist licensure.

• Implement patient safety and pharmacy professional practice standards.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory and workflow management, and accurate prescription processing.
• Assist customers in‑store and at the drive‑through, answer calls, perform register transactions, and create personalized care moments.
• Support the supervising pharmacist with drug dispensing, therapeutic counseling, claim resolution, and health‑care service delivery (e.g., point‑of‑care testing, immunizations).
• Develop and maintain drug inventory, perform picking, and meet replenishment needs following CVS policies.
• Participate in all store operational meetings and support scheduling, training, and staff development.
• Communicate with field management and corporate to address pharmacy operations and performance goals.

• High school diploma (or GED) and a Doctorate (PharmD) or equivalent from a Non‑US accredited pharmacy school.
• Active pharmacy intern license in the state of assignment.
• Eligibility to obtain pharmacology licensure within 120 days after completing required internship hours.
• Strong verbal and written communication; active listening; customer‑ and community‑engagement skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lb. occasionally and 10 lb. frequently.

• Successful completion of the 18‑month Non‑US Accredited Foreign Graduate training program.
• Completion of point‑of‑care testing, immunization, or other state‑regulated services as directed.
• Participation in required training and compliance program; regular attendance, including evenings and weekends.
