Dietary / Culinary Manager – Butler Rehab Center

The Dietary Manager is responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, managing staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and supporting residents’ nutritional needs.

• Manage daily dietary and food service operations.
• Interview, hire, train, and supervise dietary staff.
• Create and maintain staff schedules.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and adjust services accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with health codes and dietary regulations.
• Maintain accurate inventory and place food/supply orders.
• Develop and manage department budget.
• Plan and implement resident-centered dietary programs.
• Oversee food storage, preparation, and sanitation protocols.

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or equivalent certification by the Association of Nutrition and Food service Professionals (ANFP).
• Successful completion of a certified Dietary Manager exam.
• Minimum 2 years of food service management experience, preferably in long-term care or healthcare settings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
