Respite Companion - Flexible Shifts, Free Training

Caregivers are often exhausted, overwhelmed, and trying to do it all alone. You can offer priceless moments of rest by simply being a calm, caring presence with a patient while their caregiver steps away.

As a Respite Companion, you may:

• Sit bedside and provide watchful companionship
• Read aloud, share music, or just offer quiet presence
• Allow caregivers to run errands, sleep, or take a needed break
• Help preserve family well-being during a tender time

You are not responsible for medical care — just human care.

Volunteering includes:

• Free, supportive training
• Flexible shifts based on your availability
• Guidance from a dedicated volunteer coordinator and end of life doula
• Deeply meaningful connection and appreciation
