Occupational Therapist - Lymphedema Specialist (PRN Days

Under the direction of the manager of holistic health, provides outpatient physical therapy and lymphedema services to both cancer and non-cancer patients and education to patients and their families on management of lymphedema. Promotes growth and development of the lymphedema and physical therapy programs. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards. Must be certified in lymphedema and have 3+ years of experience treating lymphedema patients.

Minimum requirements:

education: bachelor's degree in physical therapy or occupational therapy. licensure: current physical therapy or occupational therapy license in the applicable state of practice or eligibility required. experience: must have at least 3 years lymphedema experience. must know cpr and be able to respond to emergency situations. other: demonstrates advanced treatment skills and knowledge, strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. must be flexible with scheduling to accommodate patient needs.

preferred requirements: preferred education: master's degree preferred.

physical requirements: position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
