Job Title

MU Health Care is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

Job Description

Shift: Four 10-hour shifts per week. Clinic is open Monday – Thursday 7:30 am – 5:30 pm and Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm.

· Base Pay Range:

o Medical Assistant: $16.68 - $28.27 per hour, based on experience

o LPN: $22.14 - $34.59 per hour, based on experience

· Choose Between Sign-On Bonus

o Sign-On Bonus:

§ Medical Assistant: $1,500

§ LPN: $5,000

o Retention Rewards:
Up to $15,000

§ Relocation Support:
Additional $5,000 if moving from over 50 miles away

§ Retention Reward (Option
1): $2,000 per year for up to 5 years, totaling $10,000

§ Student Loan Repayment (Option
2): $2,000 per year toward student loans, up to 5 years, totaling $10,000

MU Health Care is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide compassionate, patient-centered care. In this role, you will room patients, obtain and document vital signs and medical histories, prepare patients for exams, assist providers, administer medications or injections as appropriate, and perform basic clinical tests. You will also support efficient clinic operations by coordinating patient flow, managing documentation in the electronic medical record, and communicating with patients and the care team.

Job Description

· Measure and record patients' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration.

· Prepare patients for examinations, tests, or treatments and explain procedures.

· Observe patients, charting and reporting changes in patients' conditions.

· Provide quality care to patients and work with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest patient satisfaction. Follow all safety, security, and infection control, policies and procedures. Perform all tasks to ensure the safety of self, patient, and co-workers.

· Maintain the standards of nursing care and departmental criteria to assure they are aligned with the University of Missouri Health Care Mission and Goals.

· Participates in meetings, in-services, and quality and performance improvement groups.

· Perform patient care duties and procedures following department policy, established protocol and standard of care, or directed by Charge Nurse.
