American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring willingness to float to Med Surg with at least 2 years of experience.

• Work in a 25-bed critical access hospital
• Primary unit is Labor and Delivery with responsibilities including nursery, labor, and mother/baby care
• Position requires at least half-time coverage on Med Surg, floating to assist when there are no OB patients
• Orientation to Med Surg will be provided for those without prior experience
• Night shift schedule of 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Uses Meditech EMR system

• Active RN license (Missouri or Compact) required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS
• Fetal monitoring skills required
• Willingness to float and provide care across L&D, Post Partum, and Med Surg units

• Provide comprehensive care across labor and delivery, postpartum, nursery, and med surg patient populations
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
