Occupational Therapist - Full Time

The Neuro Medical Center Rehabilitation Hospital is in search of a Full Time Occupational Therapist

The occupational therapist must be able to effectively complete comprehensive evaluations, establish treatment plans of care, and provide appropriate occupational therapy treatments to patients with a variety of neurological diagnosis and impairments. The focus of occupational therapy is to maximize each patient's recovery and level of functional ability including but not limited to: neuromuscularrecovery (through neuro rehabilitation), functional mobility skills improvement, activities of daily living skills and independent activities of daily living skills improvement, cognitive skills improvement and proper use of adaptive equipment as needed.

This position also requires effective communication skills to establish good rapport with patients and staff, to educate and train caregivers, and to provide an interdisciplinary team approach to each patient's care.

• Must be an Occupational Therapist with a current
  
  Louisiana license.
• Master's Degree
• One year or more experience
