Join our team of School-Based Therapists and help students build resilience, overcome challenges, and succeed both academically and emotionally.

At Centerstone / Burrell Behavioral Health, you'll work directly within public schools, providing accessible mental health support where students need it most. This is an opportunity to do meaningful, high-impact work while enjoying a structured schedule and strong professional support.

Schedule & Lifestyle

• School-based setting (daytime hours)
• Predictable schedule aligned with school calendar
• Options for year-round OR 10–11 month schedules (after a probationary period)

Compensation & Earnings Potential

• PLPC / LMSW / PLMFT:
  Starting at $55,852
• LPC / LCSW / LMFT:
  Starting at $70,202
• Performance bonuses:
  Up to $12,000 annually
• Sign-On Bonus:
  Available based on location (external candidates)
• NHSC Approved Site:
  Eligible for tax-free student loan repayment

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to students in a school setting
• Support students' emotional and behavioral health to improve academic success
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Respond to crisis situations and provide immediate support when needed
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and community resources
• Participate in case staffing and treatment planning
• Serve as a liaison to ensure coordinated care for students and families

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
• Licensed or provisionally licensed in Missouri (or working toward licensure) as: PLPC, LMSW, PLMFT, LPC, LCSW, LMFT
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Passion for working with children, families, and schools

Preferred:

• Experience providing individual, group, or family therapy
• Experience in school-based or community mental health settings
