VA St. Louis Health Care System is seeking a Medical Instrument Technician (EKG) to perform electrocardiograms and continuous monitoring of patient heart rhythms and oximetry.
The technician analyzes and documents cardiac activity and oximetry, and immediately notifies staff of dangerous arrhythmias or alarm changes. There are no strict educational requirements, though licensure or certification is desirable at higher grades.
