* ** Pay Range: $42.00–$45.00 per hour, based on experience
** Kern River Transitional Care is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help residents improve mobility, restore function, and achieve their highest level of independence.##

Key Responsibilities
* Provide physical therapy treatments according to the plan of care established by the Physical Therapist
* Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, transfers, balance, and gait activities
* Observe and document residents’ progress, responses, and changes in condition
* Communicate resident updates and concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist
* Educate residents, families, and caregivers on exercises and safety techniques
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
* Follow all facility policies and applicable state and federal regulations
* Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, and interdisciplinary team members
* Promote a safe, supportive, and resident-centered environment## Qualifications
* Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
* Current California PTA license in good standing
* Current CPR certification
* Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
* Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
