Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specialized in Telemetry to provide quality patient care in a hospital setting. The candidate must possess relevant experience and certifications to successfully perform in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and identify abnormal patterns accurately.
• Titrate drips and manage pre or post-cardiac catheterization patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float within hospital units as required, ensuring seamless patient care.
• Document patient information precisely using Cerner EMR system.
• Comply with safety and infection control protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

• Possess MO RN license or valid Compact license.
• Have at least 18 months of true telemetry experience, including cardiac titration.
• Hold current BLS, ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate experience with Cerner charting system.
• Be willing to float across multiple hospital units.
• Pass an EKG rhythm recognition test with 80% or higher.
