Responsible for assisting patients to patient exam rooms, obtaining and documenting needed data, prior authorizations and referral processing as needed, assisting provider as directed, and maintenance of a clean and safe work environment. Responsible for phlebotomy and performance of diagnostic tests.
RequirementsResponsible for assisting patients to patient exam rooms, obtaining and documenting needed data, prior authorizations and referral processing as needed, assisting provider as directed, and maintenance of a clean and safe work environment. Responsible for phlebotomy and performance of diagnostic tests.
Experience and Education- Certification in Medical Assistant program or
- Licensed in Practical Nursing
- Recent clinic or medical office experience.
- Must have proficiency of computer and ability to utilize electronic health record system .
- Experience with Prior Authorizations and DME preferred but not required.
- Good working knowledge of medications beneficial.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required
- Must be adept at phlebotomy skills and diagnostic testing.
