Position SummaryPerform clinical duties in physician practices under the direction of the practice manager and physicians. Responsible for rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, administering injections and medications, performing EKGs and other point-of-care testing and treatments, triaging phone calls and electronic messages, and performing check-out duties. Promote teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Perform duties in a manner consistent with St.
Luke’s mission and values.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Previous medical assistant experience in vital sign accuracy, EKGs, medication administration, and immunizations
