12hrs. +Rotating Weekends. Full-Time Evenings

Pay Rate: $19hr & up

Increased Nursing Shift Differential - Up to $4hr!

Aspire Senior Living Platte City, a skilled nursing facility located in Platte City, MO, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team. As a Certified Medication Technician (CMT), you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our residents. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and their families.

As a Certified Medication Technician (CMT), you will be responsible for administering prescribed medications and treatments, accurately documenting medication administration and resident responses, and observing residents for side effects and reporting any adverse reactions to the nursing team.
Certified Medication Technician (CMT) will also assist with daily living activities, maintain compliance with facility policies and regulations, and promote a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.

Certified Medication Technician (CMT)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by a licensed nurse.
  • Accurately document medication administration and resident responses.
  • Observe residents for side effects and report any adverse reactions to the nursing team.
  • Assist with daily living activities as needed, including personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility support.
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations.
  • Promote a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.
Certified Medication Technician (CMT)

Qualifications:
  • Valid Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification in Missouri.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
